Sponge Chats – Teaching, Teacher Training and Teacher well-being with Richard Brown

This blog post is part of the Sponge Chats video series.

For the sixth Sponge Chat, I got to sit down with teacher, trainer, materials writer and owner of the website English for Positive Change, Richard Brown. Richard has worked in both the UK and Spain, and now works predominantly to better the working lives of language teachers around the world. We got to speak about his journey in ELT, his views on teacher well-being and some of what we can do to support this, as well as some advice to teachers and managers.

If you would like to get in touch with Richard, enrol on one of his many courses, or simply find out more information, head over to English for Positive Change or check out one of his many webinars which are advertised on English for Positive Change Facebook group.

I really hope you enjoy this Sponge Chat and can find some inspiration, whether it be to move into teacher training or materials writing, or simply to get back motivation you may have lost over the years! You can watch us on YouTube or listen on Spotify. And remember – please let me know what you think 🙂
